I’m Lesley Hughes and I offer personalised accountancy services to sole traders and small businesses, the hotel and hospitality trade, and landlords renting out property, amongst others.
Background
Before setting up my own practice, I was an accountant in industry for many years. This means I have a broad range of skills. As well as accounts preparation and tax returns, I can also prepare management accounts, analyse ledgers and prepare payrolls for a commercial office. And I have a particular interest in helping clients achieve best practice by offering them tailored training and consultancy.
I started my own accountancy practice in September 2001 in the Ludlow area, moving into Wales in 2008. I was based for many years near Machynlleth and travelled to clients all around Mid Wales and the Welsh Borders, including Aberystwyth, Dolgellau, Aberdyfi, Newtown, Welshpool and Shrewsbury. I also learnt to speak Welsh.
I have now relocated to Manchester, and am very happy to take on new clients from the North West. I would also love to continue working with clients old and new from West Wales.
